ISRAEL-EGYPT PILGRAMAGE TOUR - 10 NIGHTS 

SATURDAY - DAY 1
Cairo
Arrival Cairo International airport. Meet and assist at airport through customs and passport formalities and transfer to hotel. Check-in and overnight at hotel.

SUNDAY - DAY 2
Cairo
Today your tour starts with the impressive Cairo Museum of Antiquities. Regarded as one of the most prominent museums in the world, it houses treasures from the 1st to the 31st Dynasties of Pharaohs, including the treasures of King Tutankhamon. From there continue to the great Pyramid of Cheops, considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world & the enigmatic Sphinx. Early evening return to hotel for overnight.

MONDAY - DAY 3
Cairo/Sinai
After breakfast at hotel and check-out, we’ll have a morning tour of Old Cairo and the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Following the tour drive from Cairo through the Sinai Desert to St. Catherine Monastery. Arrive St. Catherine. Check-in, dinner and overnight at hotel.

TUESDAY – DAY 4
Mt. Sinai/Tel Aviv
Very early morning climb Mt. Sinai to follow the footsteps of Moses. Reach the summit by sunrise and celebrate this unforgettable moment with a special morning service .As we descend the mountain, we will be able to see the majestic view of the desert. We return to hotel for breakfast. Afterwards we will visit St. Catherine Monastery, the oldest on earth, where monks have been witnesses to the Christian faith since the fifth century AD. We will visit the chapel of the Burning Bush and the Museum of the Skull. From St. Catherine drive to the Taba Border, cross into Israel and arrive the Eilat airport, fly to Sde-Dov airport in Tel-Aviv, transfer to your hotel in Tel-Aviv. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

WEDNESDAY - DAY 5
Tiberias
Drive along the Mediterranean coast to the ruins of the ancient Roman capital - Caesarea, built by Herod The Great in 22 B.C. Visit the Roman theatre, Aqueduct and fortress. Continue to Haifa for a panoramic view of the city and proceed to visit the Carmelite Monastery. Drive via the Valley of Armageddon to the excavation of Tel Megiddo. Proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church of The Annunciation and Mary’s Well. Drive via Cana of Galilee to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

THURSDAY – DAY 6
Tiberias
Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, then visit the Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount, and Tabgha, site of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes. Proceed to Capernaum and cross the River Jordan to visit Caesarea Phillipi and the Golan Heights. Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

FRIDAY – DAY 7
Jerusalem
Start the day with a visit to Yardenit, the Baptismal Center on the River Jordan. Drive to Beit Shean and see the ancient amphitheatre. Continue along the Jordan River Valley to Jericho, to visit the oldest city on earth. Proceed via the Judean desert to the Holy City - Jerusalem. Check into your hotel; dinner and overnight.

SATURDAY – DAY 8
Jerusalem
Today we will visit the Old City, the Western (Wailing) Wall, Temple Mount and the Dome of The Rock. Continue to the Pool of Bethesda and the Church of St. Anne, then walk the Via Dolorosa, beginning at Pilate’s Judgment Hall and ending at the church of The Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon we visit St. Peter in Galicantu and Mt. Zion; here you will visit the Room of The Last Supper and the tomb of King David. We will end the tour with a visit to the Garden Tomb. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

SUNDAY - DAY 9
Jerusalem
Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem and the surrounding area. Proceed to the Church of Ascension and the Garden of Gethsemane. See the Kidron Valley and the tombs of Abshalom, Zechariah and James. Next is a visit to the scale model of Jerusalem at the times of the Second Temple, on to the Shrine of The Book at the Israel Museum, to see the display of the Dead Sea Scrolls Continue to Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Museum and Memorial .On to the village of Ein Karem the site of the Visitation and the birth place of John the Baptist. Drive to nearby Bethlehem and visit the Church of The Nativity. View the Shepherds Field. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

MONDAY - DAY 10
Jerusalem
Your route today takes you to the shores of the Dead Sea - the lowest point of earth. Drive south to Massada. Ascend by cable car to the top of the mountain to marvel at Herod’s fortress - visit the synagogue, store houses and more. Enjoy a short swim in the Dead Sea. Drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. Return to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

TUESDAY - DAY 11
Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for your departure.
